Stainless steel traditional braces
Stainless steel braces are the most commonly used braces, worldwide. They are silver in colour and are a popular option for teenagers because you have the option to change the colours at your 6-8 weekly visits.
Ceramic braces
Ceramic braces are usually more popular in adults because they're less visible on your teeth compared to stainless steel braces. The o-rings are also clear in colour.
Invisalign®
Invisalign works to straighten your teeth through using a series of clear, comfortable and removable aligners, which are like a very thin mouthguard or tray. Each aligner is slightly different, which moves your teeth gradually into the desired position.
The Invisalign teeth straightening method has appealed to so many patients due to its discreet look and feel and the simpler treatment plan. With Invisalign you can visualise every stage of the treatment, giving you a clearer picture of the treatment duration.
Since Invisalign aligners are removable, you can still floss and brush your teeth as per normal and you won't need to visit your orthodontist as often.
